TASHA DIXON hails from Phoenix, Arizona where she fell in love with acting after being the lead in plays at VALLEY YOUTH THEATER where other young starlets like Emma Stone also got their start. At eighteen, she was the first ever MISS HISPANIC USA and in the same year won the title of MISS ARIZONA USA. She was then discovered by agents in New York when she placed in the internationally televised MISS USA pageant.
TASHA found success in New York hosting for MTV and Wall Street TV as well as acting on the soap opera GUIDING LIGHT and booking print jobs. After getting her Bachelors Degree in film (on a full ride academic scholarship), TASHA wrote a book and headed to California to further her career in acting.
She then produced, directed, and starred in her own film, BURDEN HILL that was accepted into Steven Spielberg's competition "On The Lot". She found doing her own project to be extremely fulfilling and is currently in the process of acquiring the rights to a couple other projects.
Today you can see her in numerous films, tv shows, commercials, and print campaigns. She has even branched out into doing motion capture for video game giant XBOX 360. TASHA's nickname is the CUBAN HURRICANE because she is a force to be reckoned with. Her eclectic mix of being Cuban, Puerto Rican, French, and Alaskan allow her to portray a plethora of roles from Spanish to European, and Caucasian. She has a great ear for accents and speaks Spanish.
She is a mix between Sandra Bullock and Eva Mendes. With her NO FEAR attitude, she loves poking fun at herself and bringing stories to life. TASHA has impeccable comedic timing and prides herself on great impov skills she acquired while a member of SECOND CITY. She currently resides in Hollywood, although loves to travel and is constantly on the move...onward and upward!
